The City of Wichita, Cambridge Market and Starkey Inc. are once again teaming up with the North Pole to collect Letters to Santa and give away early Christmas presents that include a guest appearance on a KAKE Channel 10 newscast. Letters may be dropped off at these locations:
Century II: 225 W. Douglas
CityArts: 334 N. Mead in Old Town Square
Mid-America All-Indian Center: 650 N. Seneca
Old Cowtown Museum: 1865 W. Museum Blvd.
Cambridge Market: 9747 East 21st Street North
Starkey, Inc.: 4500 W. Maple
Every letter dropped off in person (either by adult or child) by the deadline will get a response from Santa himself. Letter writers will also be included in a drawing for a variety of gifts from the City of Wichita and its partners

In the early morning hours of Friday 15, 2013 Pat Adams experienced the tragedy of a house fire. Her husband Charlie died in the fire, as did their pets. Pat is a school bus driver, and sometime after she had left very early Friday morningan electrical fire started. She's lost her dear Charlie, her pets, and all her personal belongings. She has found a new residence and has been in contact with the Red Cross. Any help is appreciated in helping Pat rebuild her life, and any amount, small or large, will be appreciated.
Donations can be made to “Charlie Adams Memorial Fund” at any Capitol Federal Credit Union. Checks should be made out to the “Charlie Adams Memorial Fund” and sent to Capital Federal Credit Union at 8040 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67206.
The funeral for Charlie will be held Thursday the 21stNovember at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7011 East 13th Street North, Wichita.
