Merry Christmas! Independent Living Resource Center’s 2013 Christmas cards, note cards and lithographs are now available for sale. Popular local artist Hugh Greer’s acrylic painting, “Christmas Eve Express” features Wichita’s Union Station on this year’s card.
On March 8, 1914, Wichita’s Union Station was dedicated and by 1920, over a million train tickets had been purchased. Often young boys would sell their stack of newspapers outside the Union Station. In 2004, the Wichita Union Station was placed on the Kansas and National Register of Historic Places.
Proceeds from the sale of this unique card benefit Independent Living Resource Center, a local nonprofit agency that provides support and services to people with disabilities since 1984.
This year we are excited to offer you a choice of two Christmas greetings. Order your Christmas cards, note cards and lithographs now!
